Thinking About Relocating?

Vermont has a lot to offer for someone considering a lifestyle change. Roads aren't congested, except in foliage season - about 3 weeks in October. Crime is minimal or very much under control. Schools are good to great. Water quality is very good. Access to services is decent although shopping is not a Vermont pastime. Rural life is a bit like a step back in time with people having more time to know each other. And the outdoors is something to take advantage of year-round. From skiing, snowshoing, snowmobiling and ice fishing in winter to kayaking, canoing, boating, swimming, fishing and hiking in summer, the four seasons are loaded with choices for getting out and enjoying nature.

So what are the drawbacks? The main one is income. We don't have lots of $100k/yr. corporate jobs. So why not consider buying a business, maybe even one with a home attached. Check out Granger Real Estate's web
site www.vermont-commercial.com. There are stores, inns, B&B's and a number of other choices.
